For those in the know, Chenin Blanc is one of the world’s mightiest grapes. Acid driven and structured, with a chameleon-like ability to be made into a wide variety of wine styles, proper Chenin will go the distance. These examples from one of my favorite old vine vineyards are a case in point. 2018 is opulent and lush, 2020 is showing an elegant, refined purity, and 2022 is rich and ripe and structured.
